Patch: (unlimited) Patched members are members of the club who have earned the right to wear the gangs colours, after a suitable period spent prospecting. They take part in the running of the club and attend the gangs monthly meeting (church). Prospect: (unlimited) A prospect is a prospective member of the club who is yet to earn his patch. Prospects are expected to do what they are told and follow the orders of patched members. They must be prepared to engage in illegal activities to prove their loyalty to the gang. Prospects have no voting rights and do not attend meetings unless invited in. Every prospect must be sponsored by a current patch member. Their sponsor is the one that decides when they are ready to be patched in. Once the sponsor thinks the prospect is ready, he takes it to the President for a vote at the next meeting. A prospect can not be patched in before a minimum of 1 year served as a prospect. Old lady: In MC culture prior to the mid 70's, Old Ladies were property and they wore cuts stating so. Old Ladies were the bottom of the food chain and regardless of whether or not they were married, they were subject to being prostituted out/beatings/gang rape/etc. It wasn't uncommon for women to be kidnapped and forced into the title. This was eventually phased out. While Old Ladies are still something of a patch's property, the ugliness that once was is gone. Like their respective patches, they need to show respect and are now given respect. In turn, they are to help out where it is needed, even if it means going on runs or packing (guns, etc) for their patches. The President's Old Lady helps decide if a sweetbutt or girlfriend is ready to become an Old Lady. Sweetbutts/House mice: Sweetbutts are the biker equivalent of a groupie. They attend events, parties, help out where they are needed and usually hope to one day move up to Old Lady. They are there to not only lay a patch whenever he so desires, but to keep the bikes and clubhouse clean. They are to show respect and do as they are told by both patches and Old Ladies. A House Mouse tends to be on the younger side, usually a runaway who is looking for an adventure. House Mice are viewed as 'trainable' and usually live at the clubhouse, if not with a Rebel's family. This typically involves a free room/protection set up at the price of keeping the family's house clean, babysitting, or whatever the family needs of them - they are essentially the help around the house, hence their title. Though they are not usually used sexually, it may occur and House Mice may eventually want to become a Sweetbutt or an Old Lady. Both Sweetbutts and House Mice must listen to and respect the Old Ladies. Associate: Associates are essentially respected people of the community, like doctors, cops, attorneys, etc.. that also work for the club in private. The club pays them for their respective duties so long as they all uphold their end of the deal by doing anything the club asks of them. Betrayal to the club is unforgivable and will often be taken care of by death unless the associate leaves and remains hidden from the club. |
club rules |
Respect – Number one rule - the club, the cut, your brothers. It's expected and will be done. Church meetings - All meetings will be held on the first Sunday and last Sunday of each month. The meetings will take place in Church at the clubhouse. The meetings are mandatory for all officers. The only excuse for not being there is if you have been assigned a task and/or are running jobs. If for any other reason a member will not be attending these meetings, or any club event, said member should call/text the President or Vice President advising of the reasoning. Voting – All decisions affecting the Club will be voted on by the officers and patched members. In the event a tie vote occurs, the final decision will be made by the President and/or Vice President. Majority rules in most cases. Any decisions must be run through all club members during church. If you're not there, you don't get a vote. All members must be wearing his cut when attending meetings. Being sober is mandatory during meetings so that all are voting/discussing things with a clear head. For a Nomad or transfer vote, the voting must be unanimous. Every patch in attendance must agree. If not, the patch will have to wait another month to request a new vote. Leaving – If a member leaves or is kicked out of the club, all club related gear must be turned in and tattoos must be blacked out. An ex member, if he left on good standing, is allowed to stay in town. If they left on bad terms, they must leave town and not return. |
